You've Heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday--Now it's Time for Giving Tuesday

Tommorow is #GivingTuesday, the annual day of giving that celebrates philanthropy and community support worldwide. Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is all about starting the holiday season by giving back and getting involved.

Girl Scouts of Hawai`i is proud to participate in this year’s global day of giving. For us, #GivingTuesday is about celebrating our network of girls, their families, and organizations that make our mission possible. The generosity of our supporters empowers us to provide a safe, nurturing and challenging environment for girls to learn and grow – as we have in Hawai`i for the past 98 years.

As girls move through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, they develop the skills and abilities necessary to recognize and act upon needs in their local communities. We are committed to building girls of courage, confidence, and character that make the world a better place.

Help us celebrate #GivingTuesday by sharing our posts and pics and visiting our website at http://girlscouts-hawaii.org/for-donors/givingtuesday/

Support Girl Scouts of Hawai`i on #GivingTuesday!

Here at Girl Scouts of Hawai`i, we’re big believers in giving back. It’s an integral part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character that make the world a better place. That’s why we’re kicking off the holiday season by participating in #GivingTuesday, an annual day of giving on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

Occurring December 1st, #GivingTuesday provides a unique platform to encourage support and generosity worldwide. The movement harnesses the collective power of communities to bring about real change and tackle challenges at the local level – something Girl Scouts of Hawai`i advocates for year-round.
Your support empowers us to continue to provide a safe, nurturing environment for girls to learn and grow. Every gift allows us to include more girls across the islands and instill in them the skills and values to make a positive impact on their local communities into adulthood.

We’re reaching out to our network of girls, their families, volunteers and the local community to spread the word about #GivingTuesday. Share our posts and pics, use the #GivingTuesday hashtag, and stop by our page on December 1st!
