On November 19th Troop
1063. We saw German Shepards and Belgian Malinois at the 647th Security Forces
Squadron. Ggreggor, a Belgian Malinois military dog, demonstrated his
role in the United States Air Force. During an aggression demonstration,
Ggreggor showcased his quickness and agility when ordered to take a perpetrator
down via voice command by his handler. Ggreggor also demonstrated how he would stop a perpetrator without verbal commands if the individual engages in violent
behavior towards his handler. The preference of Ggreggor and his handler is to not use force. After Ggreggor was ordered to take down a perpetrator fleeing,he stopped on command when the perpetrator gave up.
Troop 1063 visited their girl scout
sister on November 17th at Kapiolani Hospital. “Keara was in the hospital for 6 days due to
a viral problem,” said Keara’s mom, Joy.
“My daughter was surprised and gained more energy when she saw her
entire troop came to visit her. And without any plans, the troop sang You are My Sunshine’ it made my
daughter's day. Joy also added, “I admire how Lisa, as a troop leader, made this special day for my daughter, she
made it happen along with Ms. Kim. I can feel the love being a Girl Scout mom.”
