Ewa No Ka Oi Celebrates World Thinking Day:

 

February 21, 2015:   The Ewa No Ka Oi Service Unit decided to use this year’s World Thinking Day theme ("Develop a global partnership for development")  to establish relationships with existing charities who work nationally or internationally. As they were learning how to sew troop 590, from the Ewa No Ka Oi service unit, decided they wanted to contribute to “Little Dresses For Africa.” After making 14 dresses on their own, they then used their service unit's World Thinking Day event to invite girls from other troops to each take a turn at a sewing machine.  This helped to turn their total donation into 19 dresses that will be sent to the organization this week!   know any other troops who are forming local and global partnerships?  Share their story!  Send an email to jegire@girlscouts-hawaii.org
