Troop
2028 of Hawaii Island collected items for Stockings for Soldiers. The troop collected items from Walmart, KTA,
Choicemart, Keauhou Farmer's Market and the Veteran's Cemetery. The troop
also walked around town to various businesses collecting items, leaving flyers
and money collection jars, sent mailings and created newspaper and radio psa’s.
“It was sure a lot of work but also a lot of fun and the feedback from the
community this year were simply amazing,” said troop leader, Nicki. 112 boxes are being shipped to military troops in Qatar.
