Serving at the Shelter
Troop 188 decorated 300 cupcakes at their troop
Christmas party to serve at IHS shelter and they also served a meal on December 16th . “The girl scouts saw firsthand just how
appreciative the homeless were for the wonderful meal they served,” shared
Marianna.
Meeting the Mayor
Troop 832 visited Hawaii Island’s
Mayor, Billy Kenoi on October 23. “In between meetings on road construction,
lava updates, parks issues, and solid waste challenges, I got to hang out with
Girl Scouts and Brownie Troop 832! Their questions
were tougher than the Council or the Media. They were really fun and engaging
as they pursued their government service badge. Reminded me why we so lucky to
call Hawaii home!” said Kenoi.
