Registration now open for SCIGIRLS-U I am a Scientist Day

GSH is proud to partner with Chaminade to host SCIGIRLS-U "I am A Scientist" Day. This event is a STEM immersion day designed to deliver authentic science and lab-based experiences to GSH Girl Scouts. Girls will have the opportunity to conduct experiments using modern biotech equipment and real laboratory supplies under the guidance of experienced scientists. Three one hour sessions will be offered and will be assigned to girls based on their age-level. Class topics include Molecular biology, nutritional science, electrophoresis, ecology, forensics, material science and physics. Girls will participate in these activities and will get hands-on authentic experiences in a real university laboratory that will be exciting, fun and memorable. Girls will receive a lab coat and a STEM patch for participating.
