How can the GSH Help Desk help you?

When you think about the term “help desk,” a lot of folks probably think about the 24-help call centers that respond to questions like “why is my computer screen frozen?” or “why can’t I complete my order?” The Girl Scouts of Hawai‛i help desk works just a little differently.
While we are here to help you troubleshoot things like registration problems, the GSH help desk can do much more than that. When you need your password reset to get into your account, the help desk can re-set it. When you need a troop transfer, either for one girl or many girls at once, that’s something the help desk takes care of too.

Help desk tickets are usually cleared within 2-3 business days. We’re not staffed 24/7, but your requests are processed as quickly as possible and in the order in which they’re received. At times of very high volume (like the start of a new membership year), your request may take closer to 3 business days. But always know that your concern will be addressed, and if we don’t know how to fix the problem or have to take it to GSUSA, we’ll let you know that too.

If you’re on Kauai, Maui or Hawai‛i Island, your Island Coordinator will be able to help you with password resets and troop transfers. If you’re an Oahu member, your best bet is always the help desk for the types of items mentioned above. Calling or emailing a specific Oahu staff member may actually add more time to the process, and it will take you out of the tracking queue—which means that we won’t have as clear an idea of how many members are facing the same questions or problems, and we may not be able to catch systemic issues as quickly. Thanks! And, let us know how we can help.
