Girl Scouts experience
media firsthand at Miss Media Event!
We had a wonderful time at the KITV studio on October 24th for
the first ever Miss Media Event! Our scouts learned about the many careers
in media—from anchoring the news to commercial production, communications to
sales management. After touring the KITV station and acting as “weatherwomen”
in front of the blue screen, scouts then heard from some of Hawaii’s leading
ladies of media, all of whom discussed how they began their respective careers.
We may have some future media professionals on our hands!
