Tommorow is #GivingTuesday, the annual day of giving that
celebrates philanthropy and community support worldwide. Following Black Friday
and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is all about starting the holiday season by
giving back and getting involved.
Girl Scouts of Hawai`i is proud to participate in this year’s
global day of giving. For us, #GivingTuesday is about celebrating our network
of girls, their families, and organizations that make our mission possible. The
generosity of our supporters empowers us to provide a safe, nurturing and
challenging environment for girls to learn and grow – as we have in Hawai`i for
the past 98 years.
As girls move through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience,
they develop the skills and abilities necessary to recognize and act upon needs
in their local communities. We are committed to building girls of courage,
confidence, and character that make the world a better place.
